This policy explains what personal information Bridgeway Advisors Ltd collects when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We keep it short and plain, in keeping with how we work.

Who we are

Bridgeway Advisors Ltd is a property search advisory registered in England and Wales (Company Registration No. 17313500). For anything relating to your information, contact us at enquiries@bridgewayadvisors.co.uk. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. If you use the contact form, that is:

• Your name
• Your phone number or email address
• What you are looking for, and anything else you choose to tell us

Like most websites, our hosting provider also records standard technical information such as IP address and browser type in its server logs. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use the information you send us for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you go on to work with us, to provide our service. Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us to help. We do not use your information for marketing, and we never sell it.

Who we share it with

We do not share your information with anyone except the service providers who help us operate, and only so far as they need it to do that:

• Email delivery and hosting to receive your enquiry and reply to you.
• Website hosting to serve this site.

These providers act on our instructions and are bound to protect your information. Where you have been introduced to us by a solicitor, deputy or case manager, we may keep them informed as part of delivering the service, with your knowledge.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to help you. If we do not go on to work together, we delete them once it is clear we are not proceeding. If we do work together, we keep the necessary records for as long as our professional and legal obligations require, then delete them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. To do any of these, email enquiries@bridgewayadvisors.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
